Dr. Alice Prevost is a specialist dermatologist based in Cape Town, South Africa, with training across medical, surgical, paediatric, and cosmetic dermatology. She completed her MBChB at the University of Cape Town in 2010 and later earned a Master’s degree in medical science, focusing her research on stem cells and early hair follicle development. She gained additional clinical experience in internal medicine at Groote Schuur Hospital and obtained further qualifications in emergency care and HIV management before specialising in dermatology at Tygerberg Hospital. She qualified as a Fellow of the College of Dermatologists of South Africa (FC Derm SA) in 2021, achieving distinction in her final examinations.
She is the co-founder of a specialist dermatology practice in Newlands, Cape Town, where she treats a wide range of skin, hair, and nail conditions.
